ICLR 2024 Recap

ICLR 2024 has concluded, and we had an amazing time in Vienna! Here's a brief recap of our time.

First things first, a huge thank you to Mantas Mazeika, the University of Illinois, and Microsoft for helping cover the expenses of sending our students to this international venue!

Some highlights:

• Organizing the ICLR ML Saftey Social w/ David Krueger.

• Eating dinner with the Liquid AI team at their rooftop afterparty.

• Meeting Yann LeCun!

• Speaking with the OpenAI preparedness team.

• Wandering Stephansplatz with fellow undergraduates in attendance.

• Presenting our work at the poster session to Research leads at Meta, Apple, and OpenAI, along with a wide range of academic institution representatives.

• And of course, immersing ourselves in numerous presentations and examining poster sessions showcasing the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence research.
